California Classic Half Marathon this morning in 2 hours and 40 min. Not bad for doing it on a bum ankle :)

I really dislike it when people put their mat parallel to mine, literally within two feet away from mine. It seems so invasive. For this reason I deliberately always put my mat next to the wall to reduce the chances of someone advancing beyond proper limits on my yoga space. && THEN SOMEONE GOES AND PUTS THEIR MAT AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO MINE. That’s when I move across the studio. I cannot be expected to hone my inner chi with someone else’s aura overcrowding mine. That is all.
Yesterday in yoga I was kind of in an aggravate-able mood (if you can’t tell by the previous paragraph). I was a little on edge because I probably shouldn’t be doing any of my kines activity classes anyway because of my ankle injury. But I want to and I don’t do injured very well. So I was doing my best to be careful.
One of my students from AEI gave me a thera-band and showed me a bunch of exercises for my ankle to strengthen it. That’s the kind of students I have. I love them so. However, it will still be about three weeks before I can do judo. Therefore, State is completely out of the question for me, but I already registered and paid for the California Classic Half Marathon. So I will be walking the entire 13.1 miles if I must.
